Mondo At Fantastic Fest 5! Vermilyea, Antichrist and More!

Mondo is proud to announce new merchandise, new posters and our first live screen printing event going down this year at Fantastic Fest 5!

A lot of you have written and asked about the artist behind this year’s Fantastic Fest shirt and poster. Well, that man is Jon Vermilyea and we’ve decided to bring him to you LIVE at Mondo’s first ever screen printing event entitled HOW TO MAKE A MONSTER. This live screen printing extravaganza will take place on Tuesday September 29^th from 6-10pm at Mondo in the lobby of the Alamo Drafthouse S. Lamar. A mobile screen printing set up will be packed with original designs by Jon where you can actually mix and match different monster heads and bodies to make your very own monster. Shirts will be available for purchase, but feel free to bring articles of clothing, bags, paper or whatever else you want to get screen printed with our one of a kind monsters. Jon will also have original works available for sale such as the original Fantastic Fest 5 poster art! Grotesque. Nightmarish. Gorgeous. All of these adjectives have been applied to Lars Von Trier’s new film ANTICHRIST. The same can also be said of Mondo’s exclusive limited edition ANTICHRIST poster. Artist David D'Andrea has produced something that truly captures the madness and beauty of this highly controversial film debuting in the US for the first time at Fantastic Fest! Mondo will also be putting this years Fantastic Fest merchandise up for sale to attendees. Some of the highlights include glow in the dark shirts and the very special 3D Fantastic Fest poster by the aforementioned Jon Vermilyea!
