While October is normally dedicated to horror films, the Alamo Drafthouse dedicated October's repertory programming to space movies instead, celebrating Alfonso Cuaron's GRAVITY (which is amazing, if you still haven't seen it.) Naturally, part of that national programming package was Ridley Scott's space masterpiece, ALIEN. Conveniently for the horror junkies out there, it is not only a space movie, but also... a haunted house movie. I can't think of a more perfect time to revisit the film.
