We’re taking you back to the '80s this week with Sara Deck, Jacquelin de Leon and 100% Soft’s take on some John Hughes classics.
First up is Sara Deck’s incredible SIXTEEN CANDLES. We partnered with our friends over at Arrow Video and Sara to create this beautiful artwork celebrating the film. From Sara, “I wanted to flip the view on the iconic ending scene where Samantha and Jake finally connect after an extremely chaotic 24-hour period. When you are that young every moment and emotion becomes heightened and amplified. Here in this static instant, the toilet-papered trees and party debris turn into something ethereal and romantic.”
Next we have illustrator Jacquelin de Leon’s fantastic take on PRETTY IN PINK. We’re super stoked to have Jacquelin tackle PRETTY IN PINK for her very first poster with us. We were all such big fans of her t-shirt design that we couldn’t wait to see her expand the concept into a fully developed poster.
Finally, 100% Soft tackles four iconic THE BREAKFAST CLUB characters in two 2-pin sets. He effortlessly walks a fine line between a minimalist approach with just enough subtle personality that each anti-hero from this cult-classic feels flawlessly represented. We've never seen a set of enamel pins more perfectly suited for a jean jacket.
